Celebrate your teachers!

Take the opportunity to recognize the impact a really great teacher has made on your student's life.

Sioux Falls radio station KNWC and Vern Eide Motorcars have teamed up to sponsor the monthly "Thank a Teacher" award from November 2015 - May 2016. . You only have to nominate your teacher once to be included for the entire school year, and you can nominate as many teachers as you like! Also, each year the Sioux Falls Public Schools and Vern Eide Motorcars jointly sponsor the Dr. John W. Harris Teacher of the Year Award. Full time teachers are eligible for the award and $4,000 in prize money donated by Vern Eide Motorcars. More details are available on the district website, as well as the printable nomination form. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
