We are now a PTO

After many months of discussions at PTA meetings this past school year regarding the direction of the Edison PTA, a decision was made by those in attendance to take a new direction and no longer actively participate in a PTA. 

There are a group of individuals who are committed to maintaining a PTO that will serve the same function as our previous PTA.  One significant difference, however, in Edison functioning as a PTO versus a PTA is that there are no membership fees and all donations and fundraising money remain at Edison.  We fully expect this transition from a PTA to a PTO to be seamless. 

We will continue to meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at noon at Edison.  Mark your calendar for our first meeting on Wednesday, September 16th at noon in the Conference Room in the office area.
